Tonight, the Skull x Rose Tattoo Collective present Art Riot, a night of fine art, music, and tattoos.
On display will be work from visual artists including Chris Mays, Shannon Guibor, Darius B. Williams and Jason Rodriguez; there will be live music, free drinks, and tattoo & piercing appointents.
The exhibition starts at 8:30 pm, party at 10 pm.
Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.

Decorative body art is a stunning medium in its own right with a very rich history (it dates back to the Neolithic Period (New Stone Age)). Outside of the few “what was I thinking?!” tattoos that many acquire in their youth, most think long and hard about their choices (I didn’t get mine until earlier this year, and it wasn’t a butterfly or fairy, lol).
At first glance, you may not understand a design but you’d be surprised by the stories behind their ink. Swing by Art Riot tonight to learn a little more about it!
Tonight is also Trolley Night, so be sure to swing by S. Main Street to visit some of the galleries, boutiques, and restaurants before you make your way to Art Riot.
