MSJones Productions presents Ciné Bazaar – Pop Tableau, a fundraising campaign that fuses film, fashion,  and live performances this Saturday, October 8, 2011 at The National Civil Rights Museum (450 Mulberry).

A collaborative effort between sisters Munirah Safiyah Jones (writer & director), Folami Uimana (producer), Faizah Husniyah (styling & fashion show production), and Nailah Ain (caterer), Ciné Bazaar’s goal is to utilize Memphis artists from various creative mediums to produce short films for national fim festival competition submission.
This year’s event will screen short films from around the world featuring intros from Memphis artists. The fashion show will feature fantasy and tribal styling by Faizah Husniyah. The live perfomrances will include violinist/audi artist Jason Lurry, hip-hop artist Knowledge Nick, and songbird Valencia Robinson.
Doors open at 6:30 pm | show starts at 7:30 pm
Tickets are $15 ; VIP access is $25
Tickets will NOT be sold at the door, so contact Munirah here if you’re planning on attending or have questions regarding VIP seating.
I’m excited for this event, not just for the short fiims (you can view some of MSJ’s work by clicking here ) but for Faizahs phenomenal styling.
