Model Ava Martin will host a launch party for her website at Aquarius Creative Studio (688 S. Cox Street) from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on this Friday, May 13, 2011.
Known in Memphis for her diverse print & runway work with local photographers & designers, Martin is set to take her career to the next level. Ready to venture into national territory, she’s kicking things off with a celebratory launch party combining a few of her passions: music, fashion, and art.
With the desire to bring every aspect of Memphis’ art & entertainment industry together, Martin’s launch party is one that industry insiders will not want to miss.
In addition to viewing her retooled website featuring a new port, Strange Fruit Vintage and Heartless Clothing will host Pop-Up shops. Fine art painter & sculptor Chris Reed will have work on display while Mindspin, Scotti Fife, Logan Bradshaw, and Preauxx will treat the crowd to musical and dance performances. DJ and Producer IMAKEMADBEATS will be spinning on the 1s and 2s.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m.; show starts at 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $10. Wine & hors d’ oeuvres will be served.
