Grammy-nominated due The Foreign Exchange, along with Zo! Sy Smith, Jeanne Jolly with live band will be performing tonight, November 15th at the Rumba Room (303 S. Main Street Memphis, TN ). Doors open at 8pm; tickets are $20.  

 

The Foreign Exchange (comprised of Phonte & Nicolay) first came on the scene in 2004 with their debut album “Connected“, an eclectic mix of  r&b, hip-hop, and electronica. The album, which received rave reviews, was record without the duo ever setting foot in the same studio (Phonte is a native of Raleigh, NC, and Nicolay resided in Holland at the time).  Their 2nd album “Leave It All Behind“, was released in 2008 and while different from their debut, is their most successful abum to date and produced the Grammy-nominated single “Daykeeper“.

Their current album “Authenticity“, was released in October 2010.
