Ahhh. . .2011 was an exciting year! True, I didn’t blog as much as I wanted (can you guess what one of my New Year Initiatives is for 2012? Lol) but I did still manage to enjoy some amazing meals! Check out some of my favorites from 2011.

DéjàVu I love this place. The service is amazing. The food delicious. Creole/Cajun soul food that’s vegetarian friendly. Really can you ask for more?

Carmela’s Caffe Yes I still dream about this tuna sandwich. Majestic Grille’s tuna sandwich is a close second. Carmela’s closed the fall of 2011 but Ciao Bella will be serving lunch.

BP sushi I cannot tell you how many times this BP saved me from impending hunger.

Mosa Asian Bistro If you know me, then you know I love soup! Hot and sour is one of my favorites and Mosa’s is made with vegetarian stock! Another reason to add this to your list of go-to restaurants is because they can customize any of their dishes to your liking – less of this, more of that, spicier, milder, you name it and they will accommodate!

I definitely have a sweet tooth! I couldn’t pick just one best sweet so here are my favorites.

Parker’s Water Ice A smooth and creamy frozen treat!
Chocistry Decadent hand made confections
Circa Seasonal sweets but the opera cake is my favorite!

Bari authentic Italian regional cuisine from Puglia

Las Tortugas Deli Mexicana a true Mexican deli

42 Dominican Dominican food that transports you to another place.

Mayuri Can’t get enough of the fish masala!

3Angels Diner The atmosphere and fresh food keep me coming back. The veggies rotate daily and you can be assured they’re always tasty!

Huey’s Sometimes I get a craving for onion rings and these are my favorite! That and the veggie burger! Yum!

Gibson’s Donuts Hot, fresh, and open at all hours which makes it easier for me to sneak a treat from here without getting caught!
